Driving hands-free on the motorway is now possible in the UK, where carmaker Ford is introducing a driving assistance technology called Blue Cruise on its Mustang Mach-E. "The driver is still very much in control" says Douwe Cunningham, Environment and Safety Compliance Manager at Ford, and the system requires users to keep an eye on the road at all times, but allows them to take their hands off the wheel in certain situations and on certain roads.
