Canadian actor William Shatner, the iconic Captain Kirk from the "Star Trek" franchise, says that the advent of AI and streaming in the entertainment industry requires "new procedures." The studios "will have to pay for the results of the new technology," adds Shatner, on the sidelines of a hologram capture experiment in a Los Angeles studio, during which his lifelike image appeared in a box like a giant action figure at an advertising conference in Sydney, Australia.
