Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva says that he seeks to draw up a common policy for the first time to protect the rainforest at the summit of Amazon region nations. At a press conference held in Brasilia, Lula says "we want to prepare a joint document of all the countries that have forests so that we arrive united at COP28 in the United Arab Emirates."
