Description
Interim governor of Lebanon's central bank Wassim Manssouri gives a press conference warning that Lebanon risks further "stagnation" and "isolation" if it does not implement reforms demanded by creditors to stem its ongoing economic crisis that the World Bank has dubbed one of the worst in modern times. Lebanon's deeply divided political class has failed to agree on a permanent replacement for former governor Riad Salameh, creating another power vacuum in a country that also has no president and is ruled by a caretaker government.
