A black flag bearing the insignia of Wagner mercenary group hangs above the cemetery plot where its notorious former chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was laid to rest in a secret ceremony in his native Saint Petersburg. Passers-by at Saint Petersburg's Porokhovskoye cemetery can only make out what is believed to be his grave from a nearby street after police sealed off the entrance, which remains under heavy armed guard.
