Description
Sri Lanka's Festival of the Tooth procession took place in the city of Kandy on Wednesday. The procession features decorated elephants, traditional fire dances and performances in whip-dance garments. The annual event pays homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha, which is housed in the Sri Dalada Maligawa temple in Kandy. IMAGES
