Despite the war, people gather in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv for a gay pride, revisited for security reasons. Instead of a parade, activists tie cardboard figures to trees. According to Sofia, the co-organizator of the pride, they represent people "who cannot joint the march for some reasons". "I think that people should be protected, especially now, during the war, when anything can happen at any time. We are not immune to anything", she adds.
