Greenpeace activists sink cut-out frames of three cars, one with a licence plate reading "climate killer" in a pond in front of the Munich Congress Center where the IAA car fair, one of the biggest in the world, is taking place. According to a press release from the NGO, their goal is to protest against "excessive waste by the car manufacturers". The IAA mobility show, held in Germany every two years, runs until September 10 and is expected to draw some 700,000 visitors. IMAGES
