A day after Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's ruling party named former Mexico City mayor as its presidential candidate, Claudia Sheinbaum says that the Morena party's "doors will always be open" to her rival ex-foreign minister Marcelo Ebrard.
"Our hand is always outstretched so that our colleague Marcelo can be part of this project," she adds.
