"We are very short of spokespeople and we can hope that the Pope's voice will carry much further than ours", said Sophie Beau, co-founder and CEO of SOS Méditerranée France. The NGO's boat, the Ocean Viking, which tirelessly plies the seas to rescue migrants, is moored in the port of Marseille, as the Pope makes a two-day visit to the city, devoted to the Mediterranean and the challenge of migration.
