A far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) candidate, Jörg Prophet, is the clear favourite in an upcoming run-off election in the eastern German town of Nordhausen. If he wins, Prophet will become Germany's first far-right mayor - a victory that the nearby Mittelbau-Dora Nazi concentration camp memorial has warned against.
