During accusations of direct Western involvement in the Ukraine conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claims the West is "de facto fighting against us using the hands and bodies of Ukrainians". In comments made at a press conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Lavrov also lays blame at military ally Armenia for neighbouring Azerbaijan's tightened grip on the restive Nagorno-Karabakh region, stating that they had previosuly "recognised that Karabakh is simply Azerbaijan in its entirety".
