Description
Parents speak of the grief and intimidation they have faced amid their fight for justice, a year after the deaths of their children at an Indonesian football stadium. Their children were among the 135 people trampled or suffocated to death in the October 1 stampede, after a football match in Kanjuruhan Stadium outside Malang.
"You might love football too much, be too infatuated with football, too fanatical about it. But if anything happens, it's impossible for you to be helped by the club and its management. They all turn a blind eye," says Rini Hanifah, who lost her 20-year-old son Agus Riansyah in the stadium crush. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES
