Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh who are being housed at a holiday resort north of Yerevan in central Armenia say they are still in shock and are struggling to adjust after fleeing their homes. "My nine-year-old son says let's go back to Stepanakert and live in a (military) blockade without any sweets or any food but at least in our home," says Narine Mkrtchyan. Some 100,000 people fled Nagorno-Karabakh for Armenia after Azerbaijan's lightning offensive on the rebel enclave. Many are struggling to find accommodation in Armenia and have been sleeping in their cars since arriving.
