Description
Aerial images show the Mont-Blanc massif, where ascents are becoming increasingly perilous. As a result of global warming, the 'Mer de Glace', France's largest glacier, is losing several meters in thickness every year. As they do every two years, a team of expert surveyors has climbed Mont Blanc to measure it using high-precision tools, and is due to report its findings.
