Hundreds of people gather outside the Israeli embassy in Brussels to show their support after a surprise attack by Hamas militants, launched on Saturday, left hundreds dead. A minute's silence is observed in memory of the victims, with Israeli authorities reporting at least 800 deaths. A further 560 have been reported in Gaza, where Israel has launched a barrage of strikes in response to the attack. "We have family in Israel" says Emma Hallali, one of those demonstrating, "we have friends who have been called up, who have been hit by bombs... we really wanted to show our support."
