China announced Tuesday its Belt and Road Initiative infrastructure project had generated two trillion dollars in contracts around the world, equivalent to the size of some of the world's biggest economies.
"From 2013 to 2022, the average annual turnover of our contracted projects in the partner countries is about $130 billion," added Cong Liang, China's vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
