Description
Kurt Cobain’s left-handed Fender Mustang “Skystang I” electric guitar, which he played at Nirvana's last ever performance, a few weeks before he committed suicide, is on display near Los Angeles before it goes on auction. “This is just an important part of our pop culture history. It's Nirvana, it's Kurt Cobain, it's our youth. And people just love the sounds that this created by Kurt Cobain, that's why we estimate 1 to 2 million," says Martin Nolan, executive director of Julien’s Auctions. Cobain’s last guitar is part of the “Played, Worn, & Torn: Rock 'n' Roll Iconic Guitars and Memorabilia” auction, which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee from November 16-18. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
