"We are not afraid of Hamas; we are not afraid of missiles. This is our land," says Rodion Kulover, a new immigrant from Russia and resident of the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon. Hamas militants streamed into Israel, using motorbikes, pickup trucks, motorised gliders and speed boats, targeting cities including Ashkelon, Ofakim and Sderot.
