Ecuador's presidential candidate, socialist lawyer Luisa Gonzalez votes in the second round of the elections. "We have all the faith, strength and hope that Ecuador will make a turn towards dignity, towards a country of rights," Gonzalez says as she is escorted in bulletproof vests while a climate of fear grips the once peaceful country. Gonzalez emerged as the frontrunner with 33 percent of the first-round votes. She is the only woman to run for the presidency and has said her main advisor is former socialist president Rafael Correa, who was sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison for corruption.
