"We are all traumatised," says one of hundreds of residents from Bar’am Kibbutz -- ranging from newborns to the elderly in their 90s -- that were evacuated just a day after the Hamas attack near Gaza and are currently staying at an undisclosed hotel in Tiberias. The move marked just the second evacuation of the kibbutz since its founding in 1948.
After skirmishes with the Lebanese group Hezbollah, the Israeli army announced "the implementation of a plan to evacuate residents of northern Israel who live in the area up to two kilometres from the Lebanese border to state-funded guesthouses". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
