Thousands of people take part in a protest outside the Israeli consulate in Istanbul to show solidarity with Palestinians after health officials in Gaza said at least 200 people were killed in an air strike on a hospital compound from Israeli bombing.
"Allahu Akbar. They are not alone, we are with them," says Ebru Demir, a 37-year-old mother of two. "Palestinian people are not only numbers. It’s time for you to wake up Europe, don’t teach us about human rights," 19-year-old Egyptian student Mahmoud Atif says. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
