Praying "constantly for peace" is a daily ritual for the Franciscan friars of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, which has taken on a particular significance since Israel launched its retaliatory military operation against Hamas after the October 7 attack. "It's obvious that we are especially praying for this tiny community in Gaza, the Christian community that lives there," says Brother Stephane, President of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
