"We welcome all efforts that could bring the necessary humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and we are ready to intervene," says the ICRC spokesperson, calling for "respect for the application of the principles of international humanitarian law". Meanwhile, a second convoy of 17 trucks of aid entered Gaza from Egypt on Sunday, following an initial delivery of 20 trucks on Saturday after intense negotiations and pressure from the US.
