"We're surrounded by (Palestinian) villages that could join the conflict. And I want to be prepared," explains Yael Solomon, a resident of the Israeli settlement Teqoa in the West Bank. Many women and Israelis wearing religious symbols take turns on the shooting range to train with a pistol and obtain a permit to carry a weapon. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
