Fakhr Shukair refused to leave her birds behind in her house because she's afraid for them of being bombed, so she took shelter in a tent alongside with them near Nasser hospital in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. "At first I decided to come here, I made it half way, and then suddenly there were airstrikes, so I went back to bring the birds with me," she says.
