Anders Tegnell, Sweden's former chief epidemiologist, has written a book out November 2 in which he defends the Scandinavian country's much-debated strategy to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, described as "laissez-faire" by critics and supporters alike - a charge which he argues is a "misunderstanding".
