Palestinian workers sent back to the Gaza Strip after Israel revoked their work permits say they were "detained, tortured and beaten" by Israeli forces after they had been stranded inside the country since its war with Hamas erupted. "Some people died on the first day, and others on the second. Some died from thirst... Among the deceased, there were cancer patients who were there for treatment.
