Description
Gazans who travelled on Gaza City's Salah Al-din road hoping to pick up relatives and belongings and bring them safely further south, say they saw bodies and destroyed vehicles on the route which forced them to turn back. The IDF Arabic spokesperson announced that the route would be available for residents between 1pm and 4pm so they could evacuate safely. The IDF says their troops came under attack by Hamas militants as they attempted to open the road. IMAGES
