Around 40 Israelis and Palestinians gather at nightfall in front of the walls of Jerusalem's Old City to observe a 15-minute silent vigil in memory of the victims of the war, amid the ongoing battles between Israel and the militant group Hamas. Most participants are members of organisations that are working to promote peace in the region. “The violence has to stop, enough bloodshed, enough people dying,” says attendee Omar Harimi.
