"We were still hoping they would not come to our safe room door, but they did. And they tried, and tried, and tried, to open", says a survivor Irit Lahav, as she recalls the October 7 attacks and the impact it had on her community at the Nir Oz kibbutz, where 74 of 400 residents are missing or have been taken hostage.
