More than 20,000 vehicles are waiting at the border between Ukraine and Poland, which Polish lorry drivers have been blocking since the beginning of the week to denounce "unfair" competition from their neighbours. According to Polish lorry drivers, the liberalisation of transport market rules between Ukraine and the EU is causing prices to fall and threatening the entire Polish transport sector. "Polish road transport accounts for 7% of GDP. And what does Ukraine leave us? Rubbish on the side of the road.
