A heavy police presence is on display at a march calling for a Gaza ceasefire as police arrest dozens of counter-protesters who object to the event being held on Armistice Day. Britain’s Home Secretary Suella Braverman was among vocal critics of the march being held on the day that the UK remembers its war dead, though the event started hours after the traditional 11am silence and did not go past the Cenotaph war memorial. Police estimate that 300,000 people marched from Hyde Park to the US Embassy calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, with the event generally passing off peacefully. IMAGES
