At a major annual march organised in Warsaw to mark Independence Day, the Polish far right called on people to be ready to leave the European Union "if new changes are made to the European treaties". Between 40,000, according to the town hall, and up to 90,000 participants, according to a media count, took part in this march, the first after the parliamentary elections won by the pro-European opposition.
