Description
Members of a turtle conservation group install a GPS tag on the shell of a mature female of the vulnerable loggerhead sea turtle species, before releasing her into the Mediterranean Sea. "Rose" spent one month at the center after being caught in a fisherman's net. The center, which has been in operation since June 2021, has already rescued nearly 80 sea turtles as it aims to raise awareness of the dangers turtles face from fishermen and the public.
