Description
The historic trial of the September 2009 massacre in Guinea resumes in Conakry in the absence of one of the defendants and under the shadow of a jailbreak operation that temporarily released former dictator Moussa Dadis Camara from prison nine days earlier. On 4 November, armed men extracted Moussa Dadis Camara and three other prisoners from prison, who are currently on trial for a massacre committed in 2009 during his presidency. "I saw that my client was not present in the courtroom, which is why I asked the court to contact the public prosecutor's office, so that we could find out where Claude Pivi was", the lawyer for Claude Pivi, who is still at large, says outside the courtroom.
