The Rwandan government’s spokesperson says Rwanda disagrees with the UK Supreme Court’s ruling which overturned the UK government’s plan to send migrants to the east African country on the grounds that it is not a safe destination for asylum seekers. “Rwanda accepts, respects this decision, but it does not agree with the point which stipulates that no, the refugees or migrants who would be sent to Rwanda would be unsafe,” says Alain Mukuralinda.
