Adel and Amir Zorob visit the ruins of a house that used to belong to Abdullah Zorob, a relative who was killed alongside his whole immediate family by an Israeli strike on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. In total, 16 people from the same family died. "This family was wiped off the civil registry" says Adel, "the mother was killed along with her three daughters and their children". Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry has reported more than 12,000 deaths as Israel continues ground and air campaigns in response to Hamas' deadly October 7 assault.
