Residents of Dakar, the Senegalese capital, react to a Supreme Court decision overturning a judgement that would have allowed imprisoned opposition leader Ousmane Sonko to take part in upcoming elections. On Friday, the court ruled that the case should be retried. "Ousmane Sonko has to take part" says Pa Ahmed Ndiaye, "what are they afraid of on the other side?" Sonko was convicted in absentia in June of morally corrupting a young person and sentenced to two years in prison in a trial that he denounced as a plot to exclude him from the election.
