Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he hopes European Union leaders would agree to open membership talks with Kyiv when they next meet at a summit in December. Speaking alongside Zelenksy, President of the European Council Charles Michel says the grouping needs to "get ready to welcome new members".
