In Israel's new sanctuary for books, photos of people held hostage by Hamas are prominently displayed in the exhibition "Every Hostage Has a Story". The National Library of Israel, home to more than five million books and periodicals and thousands of rare texts, has opened the doors of its new facility opposite the Knesset, Israel's parliament, as the country wages war against the Palestinian militant group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
