At a press conference in Berlin, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni call on Russian president Putin to end the war in Ukraine by withdrawing his troops from the country. Scholz says that the G20 video call, the first the Russian president participated in since the conflict, was a "good opportunity" to pressure the Kremlin to do so.
