South Africa's ex-Olympic runner, Oscar Pistorius, has been granted parole and will be released from prison in January next year. "Just like all other parolees, Mr Pistorius will be monitored by our officials ... That will happen until such time that his sentence expires," says correctional service spokesman Singabakho Nxumalo.
