A Palestinian is wounded by Israeli fire during clashes outside the Ofer prison, ahead of an expected release of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Israeli hostages. Hamas militants were to release a second batch of hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israel on Saturday, officials said, as a truce is largely being maintained in the devastated Gaza Strip after seven weeks of war that killed thousands.
