"I'm going to order at least a hundred trees, because it's a big weekend coming up," explains a florist at Rungis Market as Christmas approaches. The Rungis Market, a large wholesale food market serving the Paris region and beyond, receives the first trees to be sold to professionals. Every year, 500,000 trees pass through here.
