Description
42 goats, 90 acres of land and one new GPS device that's changing farming and helping the environment. Molly and Sam Kroiz have been running Georges Mill Farm, a seasonal farmstead goat dairy in Northern Virginia, for two decades. But since April, one small device has changed a lot of things around the farm. For over 8 months now, the Kroiz have been testing solar-powered GPS collars on their goats as part of a pilot program with a Norwegian company called Nofence.
