A "150-bed" Emirati field hospital is opened in Rafah, southern Gaza, to "treat the wounded and alleviate the suffering" says Ahmed Al Mazrouei, the facility's Consultant General Surgery. The hospital is one of the measures taken by the UAE to support the people of Gaza, another of which is a commitment to receive 2,000 wounded and sick people, including 1,000 wounded children.
