In central London's Trafalgar Square, members of the public join the Lord Mayor of Westminster and the Mayor of Oslo to watch the lighting ceremony for the traditional Christmas tree imported from Oslo. "I think it's nice, it's nice and simple and traditional. It doesn't have to be all glitzy... just a star in the lights has a lot of meaning," says one onlooker, Cristo Gonzalo.
