Hundreds gather in the Ghobeiry area of southern Beirut for the funeral of three Lebanese Hezbollah fighters who were killed by an Israeli air strike in Syria. Since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, tensions have risen between Israeli forces and the Iran-backed group, with cross-border fire increasing. On Friday, three Hezbollah fighters and a Syrian were killed in southern Syria when an Israeli drone struck their car, and earlier in December two Syrian Hezbollah fighters were killed in an Israeli strike near Damascus.
