Description
Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is set to fire several top ministers, including Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno, who are reportedly under investigation for alleged fraud, according to local media.
Seen as Kishida's right-hand man, Matsuno faces a no-confidence motion on Tuesday filed by the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, the largest opposition.
Prosecutors are investigating allegations that Matsuno and other prominent ministers belonging to a faction formerly headed by late premier Shinzo Abe failed to report tens of thousands of dollars raised through fundraising parties. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
